Ailm Estate

The Next Generation of Stewardship

Brand Development, Packaging Design, Brand Architecture, Line Extensions

Role: Creative Director, Design

  • As the fourth generation of the Stewart family stepped into leadership, Ailm Estate needed an identity that signaled both continuity and evolution. The challenge was to create a premium system that honored a legacy of stewardship while organizing a growing portfolio of still and sparkling wines.

  • A cohesive brand system was developed, drawing inspiration from the estate’s iconic centennial pine tree. The visual identity incorporated Ogham tree writing—an ancient, nature-based language—alongside labels featuring subtle bark textures. A clear packaging architecture differentiated three price tiers while maintaining a consistent, premium aesthetic across all varietals.

  • The system established a refined, recognizable identity that balances tradition with modernity. With a structured architecture in place, Ailm Estate is positioned to grow its portfolio while ensuring the next generation’s vision of quality and innovation is clearly represented on every bottle.

A premium brand system created a scalable foundation for growth, translating the estate’s tree into a symbol of family roots and brand continuity.

Inscribed in the ancient Ogham Tree Language, each label bears a single word that captures the defining spirit of the wine.
